Investigators discovered shortly after Kirill Val enters the clinic. Pursued by two nurses, they try to hide in their apartment in Paris. There they find Elisabeth Bure who greets them with outstretched legs.
The nurses eavesdrop at the door, and then enter the apartment and lull them into chloroform.
